Went skateboarding for the first time in about a year and a half. Had no idea if I would still be able to do it since snapping my achilles in two. We went to the Sylvan Springs SkatePark. We went early to avoid any of the youth crowd. It was a good time. My leg held up just fine. And mentally I have come to terms with my skate repertoire consists of nothing other than carving around and a grind here or there. The few feeble tricks I might be able to do would impress no one and only increase the chance of falling and hurting myself.
And it's just not worth it.
