It wasn't horrible. It was just mostly pointless. Part Apocalypse Now, part Lord of the Flies, part Blue Lagoon.
It was like a collection of ideas and scenes that didn't really go together.

That's perfect actually because my grandparents rented this for me and the other 3 girl cousins around my age when we were roughly 13-16. It was on this same vacation that I got stoned for the first time, so imagine our shock and awe when the scene where Leo runs into a GIANT field of pot came on. Oh my god, bad kids.
