There have been a couple comments left the past two days on this post I did exactly a month ago.
It's been stumbled upon by folks at one design agency in particular. Some interesting comments have been left and I have responded to them. I hope they come back so it can be a conversation.

Kind of made my head spin to read all those comments.
After running the slideshow for the juried show for students last year at work, and seeing a lot of my friends that submitted that worked very hard be shut down almost immediately, I definitely learned a thing or two about jurying processes and why not to trust them in general. I also learned a lot about submissions, but that's neither here nor there. That whole experience with the jurying process also horrified my boss, who decided to totally avoid the whole formality (read: bullshit) of a jurying process and take on the show from a curatorial approach this year.
