Band Review

Im at the office I freelance at and I'm bored. But wait I got an email from Big Hassle Media hipping me to a new band.

I am always up for new music, and it's such a chore to discover things on your own. I do plenty of that but most things suck. Luckily you can tell they suck in the first few seconds so you aren't out too much time.

So I headed over to the myspace page of Now, Now Every Children. And in the first few seconds I could tell that this was a band that did not suck. In fact I would go as far as to say it's some damn good stuff. The band consists of Cacie Dalager (vocals, guitar) and Brad Hale (drums). They have a cool lo-fi sound that isn't too thin and doesn't rely on crappy thin production to give them an indie feel. Instead they have plenty of punch at times for a two piece, and mixed with light wispy female vocals it's a cool combo.

They will be playing The Firebird on the 18th. So maybe go out and have a good time. Or maybe you hate fun and just want to stay home and stare at the wall. Which would be an idiotic choice because this band is far more entertaining than staring at a wall.

And don't just take my word for it. Look people who write words for real have good things to say too.
