The Idle Hands

Hollywood is remake crazy.

I had recently read that Darren Aronofsky is remaking Robocop. And while he is a good director, couldn't he just come up with his own tale of a future society and crime and cops?

If hollywood wants to remake movies maybe pick ones that weren't so good the first time around.

But after listening to the single Loaded, by The Idle Hands, it made me think if someone ever decides to have the bad idea of remaking Valley Girl, they can at least use use songs by this band.

And I in no way mean that as a bad thing. I love the music in that movie, so as far as I am concerned it is huge shoes to fill. Taking influence from things as old as T-Rex, but with a good dose of 80s new wave thrown in, they could easily take the place that The Plimsouls played in Valley Girl.

This is a band that sounds like they would be right at home in a seedy bar, playing their hearts out for the dedicated fans who are there night after night.
