Lazy

I've been lazy as of late.

I've just been posting crap that I find online here. I haven't been writing anything. Maybe because not much new has been going on and I have tired of bitching about bailouts and CEOs and whatnot.

But I am going to try to start writing crap on here again.

Maybe I'll rant about Facebook. Because while it is strangely addictive, it's lure is more out of boredom. And I have grown tired of constant irreverent details of peoples lives being posted. Part of me wants to close out my account and be done with it, but the fact of being able to keep in contact with so many people is to alluring and I just couldn't give it up.

But Twitter is a completely different story. I hate it. I don't get it. Friends who's opinions I trust like it and have tried to explain the good of it to me. But I'm not buying it. It's pointless rambling by people I don't give two shits about.

So I guess this is a start. Maybe I will pick up the series I started long long ago, where I ramble about jobs I used to have. Long before being sucked in the the advertising world. Maybe I will rant about socialism. Maybe you can pick a subject or pose a question and that will be my next post.

I had also kicked around the idea of purposely skipping a day of posting. But my OCD will not allow me to do that.

You should post embarrassing old pictures. I love it when people do that!

Also rants are good.

I tried twitter for about two weeks, then became entirely bored of it. I don't get it either, I suppose.

As this is the first of your blogs that I have read (like reading the last page of a book first), I look forward to what lay ahead/behind.
I, too, am a fan of embarrassing photos, and also finding out what an individual would do if faced with a real zombie-type apocalyptic situation. I like to see the different directions people's minds go in.
Silly? Maybe. Entertaining? Definitely.

zombie apocalyptic situation....Sam's Club...giant place, but few entrance/exit points...abundance of food and entertainment (trampolines)...not sure, but I bet there's a hunting section full of guns, ammo and whatnot...and if the zombies would make it inside (which they won't because its motherfucking Sam's club)...they can't climb, so you just need to roost up on top of one of the giant isles that are a mijilion feet tall and throw down a ham every now and again...

You should start a series of posts titled "You know you're in St. Louis when...." and write about funny stuff you see.

I don't quite get twitter either but I'm gradually converting. Noticed a spike in visits to mylittlestore on Etsy when I posted my illustration link via twitter. Happened to land a sale and got a few inquiries about my work. Guess it's good for marketers getting word out about themselves.
