I Am Even Steven

So as I posted yesterday I had to break down and turn on the AC.

It was the first time this year it was turned on, as well as the first time it had been turned on since the location of our AC unit outside had been relocated because of the pool plan/construction.

It all started off great. The house cooled down fast.

But then...

I was in my office, the house was getting warmer and I heard a horrible hum from outside.

The AC had stopped working.

Damn.

So I had to call for Saturday repair. I was not looking forward to that bill.

The mail arrived, while I was waiting. In the mail was my Missouri state tax refund check.

While not for the exact amount of the repair, it covered a lot of it.

Unexpected bill, timely money coming in.
