I just posted the trailer a few days ago and got the chance to see this movie yesterday.
I really liked it.
Yes it is a French horror take on the odd “family” in the woods, ala; Texas Chainsaw, Hill Have Eyes, etc.
But the people in peril in this case is a cub scout troop. And there is a little Lord of the Flies vibe going on as well.
The ending was very interesting. I have my theory, but that would include far too many spoilers.
There are some dumb, “how would that happen?” moments in this movie, but it is a low budget horror movie so I can get past them.
Well worth watching.
