Aldi

I love Aldi. I hadn't been there is quite some time, but in trying to save money I have recently returned to it. I love it's organization. The fact that they run an entire grocery store with what looks like 4-5 people. Sure some of the odd things can catch you off guard on your first visit; The carts require a quarter (to insure you're returning it to where it needs to go), many of the foods are a private label store brand (but being in advertising I have learned there are many things that are made in the same place as an expensive branded version), and you have to bag your own groceries. Sure you can't get everything under the sun there, but they have a ton and it's great for staple foods. They are also owned by the same company that owns Trader Joes, so there is starting to be some crossover in types of food. So if you can get past the oddities of the place and give it a try you may like it. Your wallet definitely will.
