So Monday my oldest son turns 14. Wow time sure flies. Why is it that kids make time seem to move much faster? And he's at that point that all he wants for his birthday is cash. That's not much fun. I keep telling him he needs to start saving some money to put towards a car, since he will be driving before he knows it. But that I guess is the difference in how time is viewed by people of different ages.
I would guess the main difference is when you are young you have so many milestones. Each birthday is a big deal. You have summer vacation to look forward to. And once you are an adult with the career, you have your routine, whatever that may be. And that's about it.
I still don't feel my age. I guess I am starting to look a little closer to it as each year goes by. But I don't know if I'll ever really think of myself as an adult.
