Movie and Sunday afternoon and a bit more

So last night my wife and I had nothing on the Tivo that we wanted to watch so we finally decided to watch one of the several movies I had borrowed from a friend. I have had these movies of his way too long. I am normally not this bad when I borrow something, since I myself am so anal about the things I lend out to people.

So we put in Science of Sleep. I had wanted to see it when it was out in theaters, because it looked interesting and I like the director.

It was truly original. It was a basic love story told in a very unique way. At times it was a bit hard to follow and I would also advise against watching this movie if you had been outside and drinking far a chunk of the day. I fell asleep about 15 minutes before the end. My wife clued me in on what I'd missed, and sadly to say her one sentence recap was pretty much all I needed.

The movie was truly original, but I don't know if it really worked for me.

It's worth checking out, but it's a movie I don't know if I would ever need to see again.

So today will hopefully mark the last day on crutches and in a splint. So today will be my last day of truly having no choice but to sit and watch way too much football. The Rams game will not be on here because it is not a sell out. So I have no idea what game will be put on in it's place. Anything but a Kansas City game, please. This marks just the 3rd time a Rams game will not be televised because of it not selling out and two of these are from this season.

On a complete side note (as if this entire bog isn't a side note), my wife made some kick ass meatloaf for dinner last night. I consider myself a bit of a meatloaf coinsurer. If a restaurant has meatloaf on the menu I always make a point to order it. I still think the best I've ever had was at Tangerine (When they were in a non vegetarian menu mode). How I do miss that place.
