The next few weeks

So today I started an extended freelance job. I will be working from their office for the next couple of weeks. I know many people who work there so it was cool to get to see them all today. Now I have to figure out things like the best route to get there during rush hour, what good lunch places are close etc. I had to fill out all the required paperwork this evening for this job, it is all stuff that needs mostly the same information, name, address, SS#. So I have had my fill of forms that begin with "W" and direct deposit bank forms.

Today I didn't have to get there till noon. I got the download on my first project and then had to wait till my computer was set up. Once I was up and rolling I read through the concepts and started pulling images to use in the designs. I got one of the designs mostly done, so just a few more to go.

It was odd not working from my home office today. I missed eating lunch in front of the TV, and being able to work a little, watch a little TV, roam around the house, work a bit more. But it was nice to have actual human interaction.

By the time I get used to working in an office again my gig will most likely be up. Luckily adjusting to staying home doesn't take long to get used to at all.
