The Weekend

So this weekend holds no big plans. A little catching up on some Tivo'd shows and a little watching my new guilty pleasure show (more on that some other time). Saturday we may go try to buy our youngest a big boy bed. Saturday night my wife is having some friends over to celebrate one of their birthdays. So I will not be allowed to go in the basement and be stuck too the second floor if I want to watch TV. Sunday a friend and I are working a checkpoint for an alleycat race.

I may try to see if I can drive my wife's car with my walking boot on. I tried my car last night and the boot is too big to avoid hitting the gas and brake pedal at the same time. I hope it works. I would like to be able to not be dependant on the kindness of others to get from place to place.
