A big switch

We moved Jett into a big boy bed yesterday. He loved it. I am glad we waited till now to do it, because he was genuinely excited abut it. Once it was set up he climbed in and got under the covers, and it was only 4pm. He played in it for awhile and when it was time for bedtime, he laid down and fell right to sleep. He was still asleep when I came in his room this morning, so I turned on his light and went to the kitchen to make coffee. A few moments later he came sleepy eyed into the kitchen. It was pretty nice to not have him in a crib. They sure do grow up fast.

In other family news, Elias had a black belt practice test on Saturday that lasted 7 hours. He brought home the boards and other things he broke, and had stories of getting boards broken over various parts of his body.
