Boring Saturday

Did a whole lot of nothing today.
Hanging out with Jett is a good fun thing, but that's pretty much all I did. I went to the grocery store. That was terribly exciting.
I started to read No Country For Old Men. People at the office have been talking about how great it is, so one of them lent me the book. I got about half way in to it and there was one passage that lost me. The style of the book was bugging me before that, but I was still trying, but the sparse style did not work at all for me. I was bored to death reading the book. I didn't care about an character, and the preachiness of the sheriff character was annoying. Now I know for sure I don't need to see the movie, but I am not really much of a fan of the Cohen brothers anyway.

Tomorrow Jett will be 3. We had asked him what he wanted for his birthday this morning and luckily for us, what he answered is one of the things we got him.

And since his party starts at 3 I will need to make sure I Tivo the Steelers/Patriots game. I think the Steelers are the last chance to beat them. Man I hope they do.
