So Macworld started yesterday. The big product news was the Macbook Air. It's neat looking, super thin and cool. But who will really need one? It has no cd/dvd drive. I guess if you travel a ton and are more of a business/account person who hates PCs, who travels a ton, it would be perfect, but that seems a very small percent of the market.
The news I was excited about was the update for the iphone. Anything new and shiny for my new favorite toy will definately get my attention. Go here if you really care about the new iphone stuff. I can't wait till I get my laptop back so I can install the update.
So last night my DSL was supposed to be back up and running by 7pm. Well it wasn't. So I had to call them. Of course their automated system is a pain in the ass and it takes forever to get to a real person. Then I find out I have to do some complicated reset of my DSL modem. Well I don't have my laptop so I was in a bind. I had to hang up, take the modem downstairs to Elias' computer and then call back, go through the whole automated crap again, then once I got a real person, it took about 10-15 minutes to do it all. It was a true pain in the ass and I consider myself pretty good at doing tech stuff. So what the hell happens when some clueless person has to do the whole set-up? I am sure it was all part of not making it easy since my new set-up was all about dropping my home phone line with ATT.
