Yesterday I was on hold for about 20 minutes with the phone company. I wanted to get rid of our home phone but wanted to see what our DSL cost would be then. After several transfers and much web surfing, I discovered that my DSL price would only go up $4 a month, but by dropping our home phone line I would be saving $60 a month. This is going to be great. I hate when our home phone rings anyway.
Just now I was looking into our cell phone rate plan, and trying to decide if I should up our minutes now. For $10 more a month than we pay right now we could get a much better plan, so I changed that too. And what's great is with the free mobile to mobile, most of our calls don't use our minutes anyway. Which leads me to, how much longer do you think that free service will be offered by the big evil phone companies? With more and more people using cell phones more than land lines, how can big business let possible revenue slip trough its fingers.
That house I went to before Thanksgiving is still for sale and is having an open house today. We will most likely head over to it so Nancy can see it in person. It is the coolest house I have ever been in. I am willing to bet Nancy thinks the same. Although the last super cool house we were drawn to, our second visit wasn't as great as we remembered it. Maybe this will happen again, but I doubt it. I'l be sure to mobile blog from the open house.
