Movie Review

I am Legend-

I just finished watching a screener copy of the movie on my computer. It's hard for me to be unbiased towards this movie. It's the third time that a movie has been made from the book of the same name, but it's the first time the movie shared the books name. The book is awesome. The story is so captivating. It's a way over used term, but the book truly is a page turner.

So entering a move with this name, it had a lot to live up to. And it doesn't not even close. HAd they called it "Virus" or any other end of world name I could enjoy it for what it was, mindless entertainment. Everything about this movie is different than the book, from the city, to the creatures, to the ending. Then don't even get me started on the over the top Ford product placement. How is it the end of the world has happened, yet the few cars people are driving are not only Fords, but perfectly clean. I am pretty sure that if you were the last person on earth other than a lot of vampires, you'd have other things you would need to do rather than wash your car. Not to mention that you'd probably want to ration your water use.

So if you haven't read the book, you may enjoy this far more than I did. But do yourself a favor, read the book.
