I'd Rather Not

I don't want to moderate comments left on the blog. Really I don't. I also want to continue to allow anonymous posts. They can truly be funny sometimes. Normally they are not funny at all, but they are mostly harmless. But don't post full news stories in the comments area. If you want to let people know about some story so badly, start your own blog, or at least just post it as a link in your comment.

It's odd how the wild west attitude of the internet quickly becomes annoying by the lowest common denominator. Just like in real life, a few douchebags can alter the rules for everyone.

I would enjoy the dumbass comments far more if it were posted by someone who isn't worried about hiding.

why do you want to know who all the anonymous bloggers are? i thought the point of blogging was to have the right to be anonymous.

news stories in a blog post is a bit much gene will admit.

People can blog anyway they like. I by no true choice have ended up blogging openly as myself.

And I am fine with anonymous comments for the most part.

But yes I deleted the comments left that were a huge news story. Very annoying. And there have been past comments that were derogatory towards many people who frequent the blog here, so in that case talking shit about me or other people who comment on here and hiding is lame.
