uh oh

So I get to work very early this morning because my Mom is sick so Nancy had to stay home with Jett, which meant I had to take Elias to school at 7am. Boy being married with kids can be hectic. So anyway, I drop Elias off and head to work. Problem is I don't have a pass key to get in the offices. I can get into the lobby but that's as far as I can go. Most mornings it's not a problem since someone from HR is normally here very early and can let me in. But since I took Elias to school I am super early. So I stop at Bread Co. to get a cup of coffee and kill some time. I get to the office, head up the elevator (I am far too lazy to take the stairs in the morning) and when I get to the lobby all doors are locked. So I head back down the elevator to try another door or wait in my car till someone shows up that I can get in with. When the elevator reaches the first floor, there waits the head of creative for the office. I will be able to get in. So back up the elevator we go. But when we reach the lobby he discovers he doesn't have his pass key. Damn! He then remembers an employees car that was in the lot and we call him from the main switchboard phone (which is confusing as hell) and he comes and rescues us from the lobby.

Sorry Jake but the falcon sold last night. Someone bought it for my full asking price on ebay with the "buy it now" option and ended the auction 4 days early. But of course I go to start it up last night since I haven't driven it sine early October and wouldn't you know...the battery is dead. Oh well I will try to jump it and if worse comes to worse I can buy a new battery.

The advertising bowling league starts tonight. I don't know if I am going to bowl yet or not. I am an awesome bowler but I don't know if I want to add an extra 16lbs. to my bad achilles just yet. But I will be there to drink beers and mingle. Come to Saratoga and have a beer. The first person to say this to me will get a free beer.:

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."
