So the NFL is thinking of changing the seeding process for the playoffs. Only the #1 and #2 teams would be guaranteed a bye and home filed playoff game. The other two division winners and the wild card teams would be seeded by win/loss record. I like the sound of this. It would keep games at the end of the season meaningful. More would be at stake.

The other rule I would love for them to change would be to take a page out of the short lived XFL. Get rid of the extra point kick. You can go for 1 point from the 2 yard line or go for 2 points on the 5. It added a cool factor of strategy. And in today's game three is rarely an extra point kick that is missed. So it's more or less a given that if you score a TD you have 7 points.
