Friday Night

Went and hung out with Jake and many others last night.
He and Matt both had pieces in an art show. So we started at Jakes place, had some beers then hit the show.
Once we left there we ended up at Tin Can. There was some cover band playing. They weren't very good.

They started to play I want you to want me by Cheap Trick.

I said that I should go get up on stage and sing.

Money quickly came out of pockets daring me to go do this.

I walked up to the stage, motioned to the singer, was handed the mic, sang a line, then got up on stage and did the rest of the song. It was a fun time. It had been at least 10 years since I've been on stage with a band. And it got me many a high five from the crowd as I got down and it got me $50.

Well worth making a fool of my drunk self.
