Work Game Story

Another unlucky coworker:

Winter. Driving to high school in my dad's fairly new Civic with my brother. We got an ice storm the night before. Things seemed alright though on the roads. We had to take several back streets to get to a main street from our house.

Driving down one of them we saw a car stopped in the middle of the street so I slowed down. I tried to anyways. The car wasn't responding. Suddenly came to the realization that the street was covered in ice.

Trying to get traction, I bounced off the curb on the right side of the street and slid across to the left and gave some dude an incredible lawn job. My brother and I were freaking out,so What did I do but gun the car in reverse to get out of the yard, throwing up mud everywhere.

We got out of there quick and had no more incidents until we got to school. Got out of the car and saw mud caked all over the back of the car.

Oh shit my dad's car! We decided to panic and get a bunch of those shitty generic brown paper towel from the bathroom and wet them down and wipe off the car.

Those things will scuff the finish by the way. Ever so slightly, but noticeable.

My did thankfully didn't notice that until months later when he told us not to ever go through a mechanical car wash again because it was scuffing the car.
