This is why I don't understand the stock market at all.
InBev wants to buy Ab for $65 a share for a total price of $46.3 billion.
The Microsoft deal with Yahoo has fallen through but it was going to be for $33 a share for a total price of $47.5 billion.
So this would lead me to believe that there are twice as many shares of Yahoo. But then how is a very old brewery that makes a tangible product worth less than an internet search engine?
I just value the tangible too much I suppose.
