Breathless-
So this was one of those classics I had never gotten around to seeing. I had seen the American remake with Richard Gere made in 1983. But I had never seen the original. I found it kinda boring. And the ending seemed rather abrupt. When checking out some info online about the movie it seems the quick jump cuts were not the plan, it was just the way it was edited after the studio said the movie was too long. And I believe in art by mistake so it worked out in the end.
So while I can mark off yet another classic on my "seen it" list, it will be yet another that didn't live up to all I had heard it was.

Been a while since I've seen it, but I dug it...
The cast actually worked in the doll factory or whatever it was for something like a month, so they could get a better grasp of the job and the mentality of a factory worker.
