News from Dogtown
Official word came this morning that, after 19 years in business, Dogtown stalwart Chuy Arzola's Tex Mex Restaurant will close.
Owner Eddie Arzola cited the closing of Highway 40 as the reason for a drop in business over the last year; Arzola said he'll be exploring other opportunities.
July 3 will be the restaurant's last day of business.
While I was never a huge fan, I hate to see a cool independent place close down.

the place was fun. i wouldn't feed my cats the food.
I'm surprised you didn't write about the new place opening in the Hi-Pointe's old spot. I for one will NEVER set foot in that place. Cheese and sausage plates? Just what we needed. Glad we got rid of a place with some character to open another "Demun-type" cocktail bar.
