Why do people want an office with a great view of the outside?

I don't think I've ever had an office space with a window view. But in the space I am sitting in right now as I freelance I have windows. And I have to tell you, I don't like it. I don't really want to be reminded of how beautiful it is outside while I am stuck at a desk staring at a computer monitor. I don't want to see the cars driving by, imagining the cool places those people are headed. Sure in reality they probably aren't going anywhere fun, but in my mind they are. And I would rather be behind the wheel of my car listening to my ipod than at a desk.

So keep you corner office with the wonderful view. I prefer to not see what I can't have.
