How Does It Work?

I recently downloaded the app Shazam onto my iphone. For those who don't know it is a music recognition application. Say you hear a song you like while watching a movie, you use this application, it listens to the song and tells you who it is. It even gives you links to buy it on itunes and links to any youtube videos for it.

While at a bar last night we truly put it to the test as the person spinning records was playing a lot of old punk rock. It got them right at least 90% of the time.

Now how it works I have no idea. Bar noise doesn't detract from it's ability, nor does dialogue on a commercial or movie or whatever.

I will assume it works through the power of satan. And I am thankful.
