It Was Fun

The National Night Out Ride was a good time. I was debating if I was going to ride or not. It was really hot out, I was feeling lazy and it looked like rain. But I had such a great time last year I decided to forget all those excuses and head out.

The ride was much bigger than last years. We went to the same 2 block parties. We were offered food from the nice people at both of them. And the second one included a shitload of fireworks. Those people on that block know how to have a block party.

From there we went to the downtown Tin Can for 50¢ beers.

Then luckily the next stop was in the direction of my house so I didn't have to do the ride home all by myself.

To those who did not go, You missed a great time. Somehow we never really got rained on. While at the second block party it was sprinkling but I somehow never got wet. And the rain cooled things off amazingly. And it made for a much more pleasant ride home.
