The World Is Full Of Fuck Heads

A good article on asshole drivers and the cyclists they try to kill.

Now in no way would I ever say the road isn't also loaded with asshole cyclists who have a better than thou attitude. But I really don't understand the hatred that many motorist have for cyclists.

Long ago when I was still one of the owners of Big Shark, I was riding home up Delmar towards Big Bend. A car full of late teen guys drove by, threw a drink on me and sped off. I sprinted after them, but the chase seemed pointless. That is when I saw they caught the red light at Big Bend. I caught them, tossed my bike down and kicked a huge dent in their passenger door, screaming at them to get out of the car. They rolled their window down and crack and profusely apologized. I continued screaming at them. The light turned green and off they went.

I don't know if that did any good, to stop them from acting like assholes again, or if it made them want to be an even bigger ass to the next cyclist. But there was no way I was just gonna let them get away with it.
