New iPod Classic

120 GB!?
And it's priced at $249

Not bad.

But what is the HD size limit? Who needs to be able to carry 30,000 songs with them?

I have a ton of music but my entire collection isn't even that big.

I have 82GB or 21156 songs or 53 days worth of music.

But that contains our christmas music, halloween music, crap that only Nancy listens to, stuff I bought and only liked one song, etc...

So I ask who needs that much room? If you do, it does seem to be a good deal.

In 2001 the first iPod came out. It was 5GB. I swear I remember it cost around $500. Things have come a long way in 7 years.

Yes it does. And that is a good point. Although I would steer someone towards the iPod touch if they want to watch movies on a handheld apple device.
And that size can hold 150 hours of video:

So
75- 2 hour movies
or
300- sitcoms

And yes you can use it for any combo of things, but the end result is, that's a lot of stuff to be able to carry with you. Which isn't a bad thing, it just gets to the point of crazy pretty quick.

The real question is: Why weren't you @ Motorhead? I saw Gallagher...I thought he was dead.

my boss at white flag got the really big one when it was more expensive, and he said the software lags a lot, and he'll never be able to fill that amount of space.

I always say: better to make a playlist and edit it as often as you like... and like I said to my brother and dad when we were shopping for a new tv for my mom...be realistic, know your needs.
