Results And Stuff

First of all, thanks for everyone who came out to the race. I think a good time was had by all. We had an amazing turn out, 33 riders total. We were thrilled to hear that the employees at the stores riders had to go to , got into the race and would tell people were the items were and went as far as having them on the counter ready to go for the racers.

For those who didn't show up, shame on you. You missed out on an great time. And here is what you missed. The idea this year was a scavenger hunt of sorts. We had 3 different dollar stores, a Walgreens and a liquor store that you had to ride to in any order and buy a specific item. Riders also had to buy one extra item that they thought would most impress the two of us putting on the race. The person who bought what most impressed us would get first pick of the prizes.

The prizes were of course the crap we made people buy.

As far as the extra purchase people made to impress us. it was a tough decision for us. We got a wonderful personalized card, champagne, a giant dale earnhardt stuffed bear, a skillet from a restaurant, a construction cone, many home pregnancy tests, food from taco bell, food from burger king, and many other wonderful items. But in the end it was a nasty porn magazine and dvd that took the prize.

We all then hung out in the park and drank a lot of beer, including all the tall cans that John had won. Then there was the bright idea to go to Chinese Buffet.

Many things I am sure are left out of this, but you know what? You should've come out and experienced it your self.
