It was a year ago today that I was let go from the agency I was working at. It was no big deal. In fact it was a relief.
Things had gone downhill for me there and it seemed to be changing to something that would no longer be a good fit between me and the agency.
Being gone has been great for me. I have been pretty much constantly busy with freelance. And have been much happier than I had been in the last month I was there.
I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason. When someone delivers what could be taken as bad news, be positive about it. For one, it throws off the person delivering said news. Two, it makes you take a positive outlook and start off on a good foot.
Time sure does fly.
