Belleville sets new rules for Halloween

The rules they are setting are retarded.
I fully agree that trick or treating is for younger kids. But do as I do, when you are done with candy for the evening, turn out your porch light.

Here are a few of the parts of the law. Full Story HERE.

* Ban anyone in the ninth grade and up from trick or treating on Halloween unless they are a "special-needs" child, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

* Limits the hours of trick-or-treating on Halloween night from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. No one can trick or treat later than 8:30 p.m.

* Allows those people 12 years of age or older to wear a mask or disguise on just Halloween. Any other day, it would be illegal for someone to wear something that disguises a person's identity from law enforcement. Children, 12 years old or younger, can wear a mask or disguise any day of the year.

SOUNDS VERY UNCONSTITUTIONAL. PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO WEAR WHATEVER THEY WANT, WHENEVER THEY WANT.JUST ANOTHER LAW TO TRY AND CONTROL PEOPLE.
