If This Is Change. It Sucks.

So Obama wants to give the Auto industry 50 billion.

Here is an excerpt from the full story:

"GM risks going bust before year-end without help from Washington. Shares of the biggest U.S. automaker reached a more than six-decade low this week. The company said last week it may run out of operating cash by the end of this year."

I say if GM ran their business that shitty, let them fail. I'd love to know how much they paid their CEO or board of directors or whatever other greedy pieces of shit were responsible for running the company so poorly.

All I know is regular people get fired when they do a bad job. CEOs get paid no matter what.

they should just let them go bankrupt. then they will be forced to restructure, redefine poorly written contracts, and get back in the game.

a bailout will only temporarily deny what will eventually come if they don't restructure for today's marketplace. GM will still make cars. People confuse bankrupt with out of business. Agreed on the Board of Directors. People should get paid well when the company is doing well, and even in that regard are paid excessively when they should be saving some of that excessive salary for cash reserves for tough times.
