The Oscars

I used to really like the Oscars. But the past several years have been disappointing. There have been too many times that pictures that were overlooked blew away movies that were nominated or won, at least in my opinion.

But that brings me to my point, I don't want to watch a 4 hour TV show that rewards things I don't like. I had made myself a rule for this year. If Dark Knight was not up for best picture and Speed Racer was not up for best art direction, I would not be watching this year.

The nominations came out today.

I will not be watching.
