So the car companies are wanting even more than the billions they already got. They had to submit new business plans to the government. In it was this:
"In a dramatic acknowledgment that conditions in the U.S. auto industry have grown significantly worse in just two months, GM alone said it would cut 47,000 jobs globally by the end of the year - 19 percent of its work force. It also said it would close five more U.S. factories, although it did not identify them.
Chrysler said it will cut 3,000 more jobs and stop producing three vehicle models."
So the stupid stimulus bill was just passed to create more jobs, and these idiotic car companies are begging for more money, and part of their big plan is to cut jobs. It makes no sense to me. So I am sure the government will give them the money.

I would like to see how this bailout is going to help any one single middle-to-lower-class person....so far, it seems only big business/industry giants have benefited. We're fuckited. It will take decades to climb out of this mess.
