It was a fun night.
We had a few options of things we could do, but in the end we are lazy and preferred to stay downtown and walk places rather than drive anywhere.
Since it was a beautiful night out, we first went to the Cabin Inn at City Museum to have a few beers and see out friend there. Problem was she wasn't there, but we sat outside and had some beer and I sent her a text. Turned out she was on the third floor working at the burlesque show they were having. So we headed upstairs, had a free beer, thanks to our friend, watched a bit of the show, then went down the 3 story slide and on to the next bar.
We stopped at Hair of the Dog. Nothing too exciting. Although we did lose two of our party there.
We were then going to go check out a new Speakeasy place. It had an alley entrance and passwords to get in, but once in, we knew we did not want to be there. It was not some cool chill sort of joint. It was a typical bad dance club. That n=might have the worst layout ever. to get to the bar you must cross the dance floor. We barely lasted for one drink there.
We were then headed to The Tap Room to finish off the evening but margaritas sounded better than more beer so we went to the semi- new mexican place on Locust. But we did peer into the window at our old place of employment on our way there. Sad.
Another of our friends met us up there. we had a few rounds, then called it a night.
It was a fun evening for not having a real plan of where to go or what to do.

yeah that speakeasy place doesn't quite have the right idea. They're in a beautiful building, but I went there with a few friends a week or two ago and we were all kinda underwhelmed.
I went there a week ago and met some gals and had a 3 way that night. The girls are easy.
