Driving to work I heard on the radio that Obama's plan for the war in Afghanistan and Pakistan includes giving Pakistan 1.5 billion a year for the next 5 years.
I know I will sound like a separatist but why don't we take that money and invest it in our own country?
Maybe it's time to shift from being the world police to focusing on the problems in our own country. Last I looked we had a lot of unemployed people, lots of poor people, lots of people without health insurance, schools that need an overhaul. The list goes on and on.
So maybe we take this time to tell the world, we will still help out but it's going to be more like 20% of our effort.

His idea of problem solving is tossing money at things.
Then I might be fine if he were going to try and solve my problems. I'd like money tossed at me.
