Huge blob of Arctic goo floats past Slope communities
I am going to venture a guess that it's some sort of evil alien life form that was frozen in the ice and is now making it's way to humans to devour us all.
sounds like some sort of prehistoric cousin to...not jellyfish, but these really tiny little clumps of clear jelly looking things that happen in the ocean, maybe it has a symbiotic relationship with algae that is giving it optimal condition to 'bloom' (like red tide with diatoms aka as why it's risky to eat shellfish in certain months) and I bet it is a single celled organism that links up with others of it's kind to be a bigger one...not quite like a school of fish because it all becomes the same thing once they're linked together...
plus, they said something about only having seen this type of thing happen in smaller enclosed bodies of water...which reminds me of when they find that some single celled organisms that live Because of water were found in desert arroyos (where there used to be water but not for like thousands of years) and when reintroduced to water, the cells just sort of, well, came back to life, and because of this they were able to observe how the similar organisms have evolved...
so maybe it's like that, only more like Encino Man. follow? dig?

i'm retarded-- the encino man reference was because i'm assuming this thing that has been spotted has been frozen for a long time.
oh, and the whole devoured goose...fucked up. I have no guesses for that one.
