I am more than a bit of a conspiracy theorist.
I truly have my doubts we ever went to the moon. I'm not sure, but I am open to the idea that it did not happen. It just seemed to convenient.
This article says that A panel reviewing NASA's current plans for human space flight will report that there is no realistic way to return to the moon by 2020 -- or even 2028.
Really?
We had the technology to get us there supposedly several times in the 60s and 70s, but there is just no way to do it now. Even in the next 20 years? That seems insane. How have they not grown technologically by leaps and bounds for the past 40 years?
Hell, just look at how something as simple as the ipod has come in very few years. From a rather thick thing that didn't hold all that much and was very expensive to a sleek touch screen thing that holds everything you could ever need.
Or pretty much look at any piece of technology or transportation and it's advances in the last 40 years.
It just seems like total bullshit to me.

Can you imagine like working for NASA and being all excited about space travel and then in confidential orientation they're all like "yeah, one thing you should know about that...we never went to the moon...wait, you actually thought that was possible?"
