Movie Review

First thing is I don't know what marketing department came up with the plan and trailers for this movie but they should either be fired or go into a business where bait and switch is a useful tool.

THIS IS NOT A COMEDY!

Don't let the sentence on the top of the movie poster "From the director of Superbad" fool you. While that statement is true, this is not a comedy.

Did I say this is not a comedy?

This is a coming of age relationship movie. It's about college age people struggling to see where they are going to go in life. They live in a working class area of Pittsburgh. They have bad relationships with their parents. They want to know what they are supposed to do in life. And they all just happen to work at a crappy run down amusement park.

Yes this is worth seeing. And you really can't go wrong with a movie that opens with a Replacements song, includes a Husker Du song and then gives us a second Replacements song in the soundtrack.

And... This is not a comedy.
