Suburbia-
I couldn't tell you the last time I had seen this movie. It might have been in the 80s. But in those years I also could tell you how many times I had watched this movie. It was required viewing for a teenage punk rock kid back then.
Elias and I sat down to watch it. I told him I really didn't know if it would be good, bad, or so bad it was good.
While there are parts that you just have to laugh at, they were always that way.
For a low budget weird little movie it holds up really well. Then throw in live performances by The Vandals, D.I. and T.S.O.L and it makes it that much more entertaining.
Trivia:
With the exception of 'Chris Pedersen' and Bill Coyne, the kids in the movie were not professional actors.
The scene where Razzle shoots a cockroach cost $50, and was one of the most expensive in the film. The insect was specially trained and had its own handler.

As I recall, Razzle is none other than Flea, which comes out in one of the car scenes where there's a gaffe. The dialog goes something like this:
punk girl in back seat "cut it out flea"
flea "my name's razzle. Call me razzle!"
