I will admit I haven't fully read this article. But I do question how a person who is the commander in chief over two wars that are currently going on wins a peace prize?
I am very indifferent when it comes to Obama. Some things he does I like. Some things he does I hate. But I will say that this award seems premature and silly to bestow upon him.

Two wars he did not initiate and is trying to resolve. He's not perfect but what harm could come of him being awarded the NPP? If anything it's reassuring. I'm just sayin'.
I'm not sure adding more troops to Afghanistan would be seen as peacefully trying to resolve. I would just have to say anyone who is involved in warfare currently really should not win a peace prize.
The harm could be that the middle east takes huge offense that a person winning a peace prize has troops killing their people currently. And it makes things even worse.
I'm not really sure. I just found it rather funny.
