Right On Dynamite is a jangley 3 piece garage pop band out of NY.
I received an email about them while I was at the ATL airport about to get on a plane. The description about them and just their band name made me a little excited to get back home and get to check them out.
So as I sat down at my computer this morning to catch up on all the typical stupid websites I visit everyday I downloaded the EP by Right On Dynamite and gave it a listen.
They have hints of 60s pop, The Strokes (but not nearly as pretentious sounding) with just a hint of weezer. And for some reason I kinda hear a bit of Ben Folds in the singers voice.
Overall they are well worth a listen. They might set your foot a tapping.
