I got home from work yesterday and checked the mail.
There was a package addressed to me. I opened it and it was some Vonage crap to set up their phone service. I thought this was a pretty damned expensive direct mail piece. I called them to tell them that I received this but had not ordered it.
They informed me that an account was started in my name for my address.
I then discovered that a charge for this had showed up on my account at my bank.
Once I got the account closed and a fraud case reported with Vonage, I called my bank.
They cancelled my debit cards and taking that charge off.
But what I don't get it why steal my info and sign me up for a weird service?

Sometimes causing someone a hassle is much more rewarding than just stealing their money.
