Or am I just turning into a cranky asshole?
Last night I was getting home from the office. I made the turn into my alley and noticed the first dumpster was overflowing with building material trash.
I thought someone is doing a home project.
But then I saw the next 4 dumpsters were also overflowing with the same shit. Including a yard waste only dumpster.
This pisses me off. It;s lazy mother-fuckers illegally dumping their shit. And I do not like when it happens in my alley one bit.
I don't want to have to deal with having to walk far down the alley to find a dumpster with space to throw away my trash. Nor do I want the shitty look of heaping garbage coming out of every dumpster behind my house. Or the chance that when the trash is picked up that because it is so overflowing that it spills and is left lying in the alley.
So I emailed my alderman Joe Vaccaro.
HE called me first thing this morning and had already emailed the head of sanitation and was going to call him as well.
This is government working.
I appreciated his immediate effort.

That's the type of thing that happens when people hire bargain rate/unskilled/unscrupulous labor. Or perhaps it was an inconsiderate neighbor...Good to see action was actually taken by someone doing their job.
