So as you can see from the post below I got a huge new TV today.
Since I posted that photo I also went out and bought a PS3 to use as my dvd player/blue ray player and stream from netflix.
Of course the new stuff required the need to buy new cables. I needed an HDMI cable for the PS3 and a digital optical cable for the audio from the TV to the surround sound.
I also geeked out when I discovered that since the PS3 is hooked up to my TV via HDMI I can operate the PS3 from my TVs remote.
I was supposed to upgrade to directv HD today, but because of the snow I had to reschedule. but I think it worked out for the best, since the new TV wasn't here yet when the directv guy was.
So tonight I will most likely build a fire in the fireplace and me and the family will watch a movie on out new kick-fucking-ass system.

Next time let me know when you need cables. We generally have a lot of them laying around work.
if you pay more than 10 bucks for an HDMI cable you're a sucker...
