Aging

In this article it talks that Scientists discover the secret of aging.

This line from the article, "The answer is complex, and will not produce an elixir of eternal life in the foreseeable future." made me stop and think about how horrible discovering eternal life could be.

But then what if you agreed that to get eternal life you could have no children. You needed to be made sterile. Would you do it? Or would you opt to grow old, have children and live what is now a normal life?

I would have no desire to live forever. How boring would life become?

...I wouldn't think it'd be boring...you wouldn't be given an eternal life guarantee...meaning you you may not age, but you still can't stop bullets with your teeth (obviously unless you're in the circus)...would however give an entire new meaning to life sentencing and the justice system in general...
