LOST

Well last night was the second episode of the final season and I can say this, If it was not the final season I would be done. Just as the show Heroes got too stupid for me to waste an hour on each week, LOST has also done the same thing.

I was digging the show last season. It evolved some of the characters and some interesting things happened. Thus far this season we have been met with the alternate universe where the flight never crashed, yet they seemed to have landed in a world full of stupid unrealistic happenings.

In life I personally am a strong believer in fate. And I can see the show is trying to use fate of that people who are meant to connect will happen no matter what, but they could do it in a way that isn't full on retarded. When Claire gave Kate (a person who had just hours before taken her against her will by gun point) her credit card, it was just too stupid.

And I have truly tired of the simplistic plot device of if these two characters don't say everything they know or actually have a conversation it will be mysterious. Last night when it came to the pill issue, they could have told JAck exactly what the pill was and what they intended it to do. Then he could choose if he wants to trust them or not. It could turn out they are lying, or not. But it could get us out of a show that is full of bad acting and half conversations, where every sentence is meant to intrigue and add suspense.
